This IPCC Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate (SROCC) is summarizing state-of-the-art about climate change in oceans and cryosphere. The executive Summary for Policymakers (SPM) compiles key findings of the report and is structured in three parts: (1) Observed Changes and Impacts, (2) Projected Changes and Risks, and (3) Implementing Responses to Ocean and Cryosphere Change.

Confidence in key findings is reported using IPCC calibrated language and the underlying scientific basis for each key finding is indicated by references to sections of the underlying report.
